BRING THEM HOME NOW!

BRING THEM HOME NOW!

100+ days. The pain our brothers and sisters are going through is unimaginable. Make one small change in your life in the merit of our siblings returning home now!

“That day really changed my whole life, a reminder that everything can be gone in a second, that it’s impossible to know what will happen tomorrow, that if I want to do something, I should do it.”

Dafna Elyakim

“I experienced hell. Everyone there are terrorists… there are no innocent civilians, not one”

Mia Schem

“Wait, there’s a problem: There’s a woman older than me and in poorer health. She should go first,”

SOme Commitment Ideas

  • In our culture and tradition, there is a beautiful concept of modesty that is often expressed through the way we dress and present ourselves. I've decided to take it upon myself to embrace this concept more consciously, both when going out and even within the confines of my home.

  • I've made a commitment to myself: 20 minutes a day, dedicated solely to learning. Whether it's in the early hours of the morning, a quiet moment at night, or whenever I seize a few spare minutes during the day,

  • Observing a single Shabbat, even just once, is an experience that can profoundly impact one's life. As the sun sets and the Shabbat candles flicker, there's a tangible shift in the atmosphere—a sense of peace and sanctity descends. For those 24 hours, the world outside seems to slow down, allowing us to step back from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

  • It requires us to think before we speak, to consider the potential consequences of our words, and to exercise restraint when tempted to gossip or criticize.

  • Saying the Shema can provide a sense of purpose and spiritual grounding, fostering a deep sense of identity and belonging within a broader faith community. In doing so, it serves as a powerful reminder of the enduring power of faith and the enduring legacy of tradition.

  • Every twist, knot, and strand carries significance, encouraging those who wear them to lead lives steeped in mindfulness and spirituality.

  • Embracing respectful silence throughout davening allows every participant to fully immerse in the divine dialogue and uphold the sanctity of our communal prayers. Let us cherish these moments of connection and ensure they remain undisturbed, amplifying the power of our collective devotion.
